Ever heard of Smarterer?  Neither had I before a few months ago.  Smarterer is a fun little program that lets you earn badges for basic (and sometimes not so basic) knowledge about those things you do every day. Subjects range from social networks to television.  From anatomy to volleyball.  It's a fun little time-killer that allows you to share the badges you earn and one-up your friends.

This is not a site that most people will enjoy without interaction with friends, although with friends it can be loads of fun.  The biggest downside to the questions is that they sometimes move a bit too fast (even for a fast reader like myself).  However, that tends to equal out with shorter questions.  So go ahead and give Smarterer a try.
